In a recent Literature Circle we read the books below in small groups. We were assigned the following jobs:

     • Word Wizard, who found out what hard words meant.

     • Visualizer, who drew an important scene of the chapter.

     • Rapport Reporter, who wrote notes about what the group did well and what the group needed to work on.

     • Questioner, who took sticky notes and wrote down important questions that the group tried to answer.

All group members wrote summaries for chapters they got assigned and turned them in the next meeting.

For a final Literature Circle project each group made a Voicethread, which is a way to share images and record our ideas. Click on each book link below to hear each group's Voicethread.
